Air & Space Institute (ASI)

The Brief

As part of an expansion for the Lincoln College Group, the education facility required the newly constructed three-storey dedicated Air & Space Institute (ASI) to be fully furnished. This included multiple classrooms, breakout areas, CAD labs, library, kitchen facilities, staff rooms and staff offices. The style of the furniture needed to be flexible for easy reconfiguration of rooms and colours were to match ASI’s brand guidelines.

The Delivery

TPS Office Furniture worked with the client to carefully transport all the furniture, which included over 700 chairs and flip top tables, and install them across the three floors whilst it was still a construction site. The installations team worked with the client’s IT department to ensure the desks were set up in the correct position for power access for desktop computers.

The Outcome

The students and lecturers now enjoy on-brand colourful learning environments and breakout areas. The style of tables and chairs provided means that rooms can be altered easily depending on the style of teaching they have planned for that lesson and gives the client full flexibility to repurpose the room quickly and efficiently.

Due to the efficiency of the installation, it lead to subsequent orders being placed for top up furniture across the building.
